Description

An increase with age in mean blood glucose levels has been observed in subjects from the Framingham Heart Study (Yashin et al.), where blood glucose measurements were not systematically fasting or non-fasting, i.e. randomly mixed. Ogawa et al. found similar results in a smaller study of elderly subjects.
