Description

With age, increased difference in reaction times between two trials: 1) press a button in a direction matching the direction of an arrow on a screen and 2) press the button in the opposite direction. The age-associated increase in this reaction time difference is associated with age-associated deficits in cognitive inhibition (e.g. suppressing inappropriate response in trial 2).
