Description

With age, there is an increase in keratan sulfate from age 50 in the epidermis, a decrease in chondroitin sulfate after age 60 in the basal lamina and, in the papillary dermis after age 50, there is an increase in the amount of dermatan sulfate and a decrease in novel chondroitin sulfate.
