Description

Study of adipose tissue derived mesenchymal stem cells, from three age groups of healthy volunteers (young, middle aged, and aged) showed that the number and multilineage differentiation potential of adipose tissue derived stem cells declines with age. Aging reduces the proliferative capacity and at the same time cellular senescence increases.
